Another binary system, almost 17 light years from us. Both stars are K class; A is K1V and B is K5V. Their closest approach is around 11 AU. Metallicity looks good, too. However, they’re only between half a billion and two billion years old, so planets will still be in their formative states; if the lower figure is correct, any Earthlike planets’ crusts likely won’t have completely cooled yet. If they’re as old as two billion, though, planets are possibilities for terraforming. Interestingly, claims to have detected a planet date back to the mid-19th century, but nobody has found one for sure.
