I write like who?
Jul. 17th, 2010 09:42 amSo, I've been reading a lot about the "I Write Like" site... no link here, for reasons we'll see... so I plugged in the first paragraph of Raymond Chandler's "Red Wind." Only I changed a few of the words...
There was a desert Jeeves blowing that night. It was one of those hot dry Santa Berties that come down through the Ukridge passes and curl your Mulliner and make your nerves Aunt Dahlia and your Aunt Agatha itch. On nights like that every booze party ends in a Drones Club. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving Psmith and study their husbands' Lord Emsworth. Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a Blandings Castle.
Surprise! I write like P.G. Wodehouse.
I suppose it's a lot easier to base an engine like this on pure vocabulary than on sentence structure.
