Beta Virginis

Beta Virginis is an F9V star somewhat higher in metallicity than Sol, age between 3 and 4 billion years old.  There have been reports of substellar companions, but these are as yet unconfirmed.  It’s about 36 light years from us.

61 Virginis and Beta Comae Berenices are both around 18 light years from Beta Virginis, if you’re looking for another possible imperial capital.
