Gliese 302/HD 69830

Another K star, but this one has some interesting features.  It’s a K0V located about 41 light years away, in Puppis, and has three huge planets all roughly the size of Neptune -- plus an asteroid belt, apparently one packing 20 to 25 times as much mass as the one we know.  One of the three planets appears to be within the life zone.  Estimates of the star’s age vary greatly, starting at 4 billion years old and going up.  It has a metallicity around 90% of Sol’s.
