As previously mentioned, this is the closest of Margaret Turnbull’s top five candidates for a star with a civilization capable of sending radio signals. It’s 27 light years out and is a singleton G0V star much like Sol: the same age or a bit older, a bit lower in metallicity, but a highly promising location for an Earthlike world. No real-life planets have been detected.
ETA: Mamajek and Hildebrand give an age range of 3.3 to 6.4 billion years.
